MESSAGE FROM DEAN CHRISTOPHER WATERS
Windsor is a border city and Windsor Law takes full advantage of that. As a result there is no better place in Canada to study law in its transnational and global context.
Windsor Law’s commitment to access to justice is one of the things that sets it apart. That commitment is manifest in many of the school’s institutional features, in our faculty research, in our course offerings, our admissions policy and our dedicated social justice careers coordinator.
Windsor Law is a community in the best sense of the word. Our people share a common commitment to their respective communities, to a spirit of volunteerism and social responsibility.
With support from donors, Windsor Law will be better positioned to recruit and prepare the best and the brightest students by enhancing a digital environment that is collaborative, interactive and adaptive and that opens the doors of our classrooms to teachers and learners across the globe.
The Faculty of Law has outgrown its current building both in terms of size and function, and anticipates a building campaign to support a building that is accessible to all.
We want to create additional supervising lawyer and social worker positions in our clinics to increase our ability to provide more experiential opportunities for our students and to meet the demands of our community.
